Gonda: An identity card distribution programme was organised at Upper Primary School Basehupur in Gonda, where students received their identity cards in the presence of senior education officials and community representatives.
The programme was attended by Ram Sagar Pati Tripathi, Deputy Director of Education and Principal of the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Darjikuan, Gonda, as the chief guest. He distributed identity cards to the students and inspected the school’s LBD Lab to review the facilities and learning activities being undertaken for children.
During the visit, Tripathi also tasted food items prepared by the students and appreciated their participation in practical and activity-based learning.
Anjani Kumar Singh, Block Education Officer, Mujehna, Gonda, attended the programme as the guest of honour. Academic Resource Persons Shivakant Verma and Harishankar Mishra were also present.
Members of the School Management Committee, the village head and several local representatives and parents attended the programme. Those present included Munizar, Nirankar Singh, Satish Chandra Mishra, Amit Kumar Singh, Ajit Kumar Verma, Anuj Kumar Singh, Janak Ram Verma, Vinod Kumar Yadav, Ravindra Nath Gupta and Revati Pandey.
The programme highlighted the school’s focus on student participation, practical learning and stronger engagement among educators, parents and the local community.
